Alumni games are always a great way for Monarchs to reconnect and have some fun playing their high school sport together again.
The annual Alumni Basketball Game took place on December 28 in the CHS gym. It was a very competitive game that was cheered on by spectators. Everyone came into the gym for refreshments and pizza afterwards and stuck around to enjoy each other's company.
The annual Alumni Hockey Games were held at Allen Park Civic Center on January 4. This is always a very well attended event bringing together players from 1980's to 2018. The stands were full as spectators watched the action on the ice. Spectators and players alike enjoyed refreshments and pizza in the gathering space outside the rink after the games.
If you missed either of these events, you missed out on a great time but there is always next year.
